Saturday’s Wolverine Open was the epitome of an all comers track meet because the good ones all came to run in it.
Well, maybe not all of the good ones, but a good enough representation that Coaches Danny Simpson and Robert Walker said the competition was like the state meet.
“The 16-team field was as large and as tough as the state meet,” said Simpson. “We were able to get more athletes involved today, and it was a good experience for them.”
