Willie Wilson has assumed duties as a Loan Officer with the Paris office of Central Kentucky Ag Credit. He has already assumed duties at the Paris office.
Wilson joins the staff of Central Kentucky Ag Credit with a strong background in agriculture and in agricultural finance. He worked with Boyd’s Orchard in Woodford County for six years prior to being named to the Ag Credit team, and was manager of Boyd’s Orchard for the past two years. His work with Boyd’s Orchard involved fruit and vegetable production management and agri-tourism planning. Wilson also worked with a Thoroughbred farm while a student.
Wilson earned his B.S. Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky, with a minor in Business.
A Woodford County native, Willie was a prominent high school athlete, having been a member of the Lexington Catholic High School Track Team as a runner in 400 meter to 1,600 meter races, and in relay competition.
He is also an Eagle Scout, ranking him among few individuals in the United States who achieved Scouting’s highest honor. In addition, Wilson was selected by the Woodford County Farm Bureau to participate in the Institute of Future Agricultural Leaders (IFAL).
He is the son of Charles and Patricia Wilson of Woodford County.
