Willis trial gets underway

The prosecution rested Wednesday morning after hearing testimony from Ruby Willis, who was allegedly shot by her husband last August.

Jurors heard from four prosecution witnesses prior to presstime regarding events leading up to the shooting of Ruby, allegedly by her husband and former manager of Blue Grass Energy Harrison District, Larry Willis.

Joseph Newkirk and Loraine Taylor testified Wednesday morning to what they saw and heard while helping Ruby move some items from her Smith-Martin Lane home.
