The trial of a prominent Cynthiana man accused of shooting his estranged wife starts next week in Harrison Circuit Court.
Larry Willis, is now scheduled to go on trial May 27, 28 and 29, starting at 9 a.m. each day.
Willis allegedly shot his estranged wife, Ruby, last August when she went to their Smith-Martin Road home to retrieve some property. He is being tried for first degree assault and attempted murder in the case.
