While the public is generous, food pantry needs are continuous

To the editor:

A few weeks ago the Democrat office hosted the Home and Garden Show, which a tremendous mountain of food was collected for the food pantry. Then, a week ago, the Post Office held its annual food drive, which 4,500 lbs. of food was collected and also given to the food pantry.

The volunteers and I want to say a big thanks to anyone person and all who participated in any way to these two events.
