I try to get home at night in time to tell my two youngest grandchildren a bedtime story.
This time of year when I umpire a lot and other times when I am working and traveling, I don’t get home to tell one but many nights I do.
My stories vary from fairy tales with my own particular spin on them or stories from when I was young as I remember them.
No stories about “little Jerry” or the such, but entertaining tidbits of the G or at least PG rating are what the grandchildren ask me to tell them.
