Pam Whalen of Cynthiana and the late Bobby Whalen, announces the engagement of their daughter, Julie Kay Whalen, to Jeremiah John Muth, son of Ellen Bunch of Oliver Springs, Tenn., and the late Brent Muth.
Whalen is a graduate of Harrison County High School and has a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Eastern Kentucky University. She is pursuing a Masters in Historic Preservation from the University of Kentucky. Whalen is employed by Liberty Hall Historic Site in Frankfort, Ky.
Muth is a graduate of Harrison County High School and Nashville Auto Diesel College. He is employed by Toyota in Georgetown, Ky.
The wedding will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 at the Wallis House in Paris, Ky. A reception will immediately follow.
