Harrison County Sheriff Bruce Hampton is ready to start enforcing Megan's Law. He has gone through training classes which deals solely with sex offenders and their victims. Megan's Law is the result of an incident which happened in 1995 in New Jersey. Megan's Law will let neighbors know if a previously convicted sex offender is moving next door.

County plans to start 911 process with fee, which will appear on each customer's bill.
