Births announced this week are: Sailie Kilpela, Feb. 16, daughter of Scott and Jenningsia Kilpela; Courtney Rae-Lynn Mattox, May 10, daughter of Jamie and Angela Mattox.
A reception will be held for Jerry Brunker, Eastside Elementary School Principal, who will be retiring this year with 32 years of service.
The Cynthiana-Harrison County Municipal Pool is now under new management. Matt McKinney will be the new manager, replacing Larry Thornton who recently retired after having served as manager for over 20 years.
