Two severe wind storms in one week results in over $2 million in local damages. On March 10, a storm ripped through northern Harrison County, and on March 12 another system came along the southern county border and into Bourbon and Nicholas counties.

The newly painted Midway Drive-In, located 4 miles south of Cynthiana on US 27, to open tomorrow. The drive-in will open on weekends only and will soon be open full time.
• A medium sized sweet potato will give you more than all the vitamin A you need for the day and about one-third of the vitamin C. This potato also gives you some iron and several calories. Sweet potatoes hold more of their nutrients when cooked without removing the peelings.
