The Cynthiana Fire Department set fire to the Cooper Wholesale building on South Poplar Street for training in fire control for three new firefighters. The use of the building for fire training also save the county almost $20,000 in removal of the building. The property was bought by the county to house the 8,000 sq. ft. Jusice Center.
