Vote with America in mind, not your political party

-A A +A
By The Staff

To the editor:

Vote how you honestly believe, not because you’re a Democrat or Republican as we often do.

Do you believe in abortion? Then vote for Obama.

Do you believe in gay marriage? Then vote for Obama.

Do you believe in socialism? Then vote for Obama.

Do you believe in higher taxes? Then vote for Obama.

Do you really believe in spreading the wealth? Then vote for Obama.

Do you believe that we need to depend less on foreign oil? Then vote for McCain.

Do you believe you have a right to own firearms? Then vote for McCain.

Do you believe in putting our country first? Then vote for McCain.

Do you believe that we are one nation under God? Then vote.

Do you believe in the constitution that our forefathers wrote was based on Godly principals? Then vote.

“It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord.” - Abraham Lincoln.

“The religion, which has introduced civil liberty, is the religion of Christ and His apostles. This is genuine Christianity and to this we owe our free constitutions of government.” - Noah Webster.

“The fundamental basis of this nation’s law was given to Moses on the Mount. The fundamental basis of our bill of rights comes from the teaching we get from Exodus and St. Matthew, from Isaiah and St Paul. I don’t think we emphasize that enough these days.” - Harry S. Truman.

“For the Americans the ideas if Christianity and liberty are so completely mingled that it is almost impossible to get them to conceive of the one without the other.” - Alexis De Tocqueville, Democracy in America.

Voters, we’d best get back to believing the way America was founded or we  will see worse things then a fall on Wall Street.

And whoever wins we all need to pray for them. I will be.
