Despite the progress of many projects at Flat Run Veterans Park, there’s been numerous acts of vandalism, Commissioner Mark Mattmiller told the commission at its special meeting Tuesday afternoon.
“This vandalism is just disheartening,” he said.
Mattmiller said a fire had been set in one of the bathrooms at the park, graffiti had been drawn on the new Farmers Market building and someone had cut the bags of dirt used for the Rotary Club’s earth-bag structure.
