Two Harrison County individuals were arrested last Thursday morning after they allegedly broke into Robinson Christian Church.
Laura Bailey, 18, and Kevin Northcutt, 20, allegedly entered the church through a basement window, according to authorities.
A church member stopped by the church on his way home from work and called police around 3:45 a.m. when he noticed an unfamiliar vehicle in the parking lot.
“They told me they had broken in with the intent of stealing money from the offering collection,” Sheriff’s deputy Robert Peak said.
Peak chased the individuals on foot after they fled from the church upon his arrival.
Both individuals will be arraigned in court today, with charges of third degree burglary.
An arrest warrant has been issued for another individual involved in the incident.
