A trial date has yet to be set in the Pendleton County case of Daniel Gabbard, the man accused of killing Commonwealth Attorney Doug Wright in an automobile accident.
Wright was on his way home near Butler on June 8 and was allegedly hit head-on by a semi tractor, which was driven by Gabbard, who is alleged to have been driving under the influence of alcohol.
Gabbard was indicted in Pendleton County on charges of wanton murder, operating a motor vehicle under the influence and operating a commercial vehicle under the influence.
