Thorobreds fall in district final, 55-49

The old saying is that “it is hard to beat your sister three straight times.” That is especially true if you shoot 27 percent from the field when you are playing the game. 

This is not to say that Pendleton County’s 38th District Champion team is anybody’s sister, but so goes the old saying. It is hard to play against an evenly matched team and win three straight times no matter the circumstances, but poor shooting will doom a team every time.

This was a hard-fought, emotion-packed game from the start with a large crowd in the Harrison County gym to witness it.
