Members of the Harrison County Tea Party held a candidate forum last Thursday night.

Invited candidates were those vying for Harrison County Judge-Executive, 18th Judicial District Family Court Judge and Harrison County Sheriff.

The forum was held at the Harrison County Extension Office with Commonwealth’s Attorney Doug Miller serving as moderator. Chuck Duffey and Avi Bear were official time keepers.

Candidates in each of the races were asked a series of five questions. They were given the questions at 6:30 p.m. with the forum getting underway at 7 p.m.

The Extension meeting room was filled with voters, some curious about candidates’ platforms and others there to support their family or friend.

For nearly two hours candidates in the three races listened to their opponents’ responses and formulated their own to issues affecting Harrison County.
