Harrison County tax bills were sent in the mail last week.
The bills show how much property owners are paying this year. However, they do not show what last year’s tax rates were for the area’s taxing districts.
Of the seven taxing districts in the county, only one showed a drop in its rate from last year.
The Harrison County Health Department dropped from .06 cents per $100 of assessed property to .05 cents on real estate and tangible properties.
