Switzer family plays role in WEG promotion events

-A A +A
By Becky Barnes

While all eyes are trained on the World Equestrian Games, one Harrison County family is paying particular attention to the reining events.

Kim and Buddy Switzer and their children Cody and Sadie have had several hands in this year’s world event.

It started earlier in the summer with Sadie, 17, doing a demonstration at Morehead State University on reining events, which are new to WEG this year.

Kim’s horse, Lilly, has been on loan to the Kentucky Horse Park all summer to promote the WEG in the breeds barn.
