Susan Beth Emery Dumaine, 77, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at her home.
She was born in Plainfield, N.J., the daughter of George and Elisabeth Charlotte Krog Emery. She was a graduate of Smith College, a longtime resident of Weston, Mass., and a lifelong gardener and internationally known horticulturalist. After her retirement she moved to Kentucky with her husband Dudley where they built and shared a home with their daughter Meg.
