Harrison County students will have an additional day added to their summer break as the start day is pushed back to Tuesday, Aug. 13.
According to Harrison County Assistant Superintendent David Case, the school board has agreed to move the student start-back date to Aug. 13.
Case explained the reason for changing the date was to allow teachers to have additional time to complete mandatory learning hours before school starts.
