A wheelchair stolen on Jan. 6 has been recovered and returned to its owner.
Ptl. Alan Judy said the chair was turned in to Sgt. Tim Wells of the Cynthiana Police Department as found property.
On Tuesday morning, Judy contacted Robert Case to identify the recovered wheelchair.
“He was very, very happy to get it back,” Judy said.
Case, 38, whose legs were amputated in an accident at his work in August 1995, recently received the wheelchair through a Workers’ Compensation settlement.
