It is one thing to celebrate an 85th birthday and another to celebrate over 50 years of doing the same heavenly thing.
Brother Paul Stamper will soon be 85 years old, but that is not what he is most proud of.
Stamper has devoted the last 50-plus years of his life to churches by taking his rightful and familiar place behind the pulpit.
“Years ago I was able to stand before a congregation and recite scripture for almost an hour,” said Stamper. “I was very proud that I not only knew the scripture but what it meant too.”
