While Sister Ruth Agnes Delaney is just beginning her first months as principal of St. Edward Catholic School, the job isn’t her first.
“I’ve been involved in education for a long time,” Delaney said Tuesday afternoon in her office.
But after 50 years educating children, Delaney said she still gets excited about her job.
“Children enlighten me,” she said. “You can always look at life fresh from the eyes of a kid... I think kids keep you young.”
Delaney replaces Mary Grable, who retired as principal at the end of the past school year.
