Gov. Steve Beshear announced this week that St. Edward Preschool and school will receive $31,395 through a crumb rubber grant. St. Edward is one of 11 grant recipients totaling almost $200,000.
“Recycling used to be seen as strictly an environmental action,” Gov. Beshear said. “Today recycling is also an economic issue. Recycling isn’t just good for the environment, it makes sense economically.”
The fund will be used for St. Edward’s playground.
