Jordan Doram plays for victorious East Squad in all star game
Harrison County High School’s Jordan Doram was selected for and played in the East-West All Star Game Saturday in Bowling Green.
The all star game is part of the festivities around the state tournament, which was played in Diddle Arena with Butler of Louisville coming out of the championship game victorious over Elizabethtown.
Doram’s East squad won the all star tiff by two points over the West squad in a well-played, highly competitive battle. The 6-foot-1-inch senior scored two points while grabbing seven rebounds and dishing out three assists for the game.
Jenkins, Pulliam make All-10th Region
Harrison County’s junior guard D.J. Jenkins and senior forward Dillon Pulliam were selected on the All-10th Region Basketball team voted on by the coaches of the region.
They were joined by Brent Bach of Augusta, Alex Trentman and Drew Burns of Bishop Brossart, Austin Crawford of Bracken County, Corey Holbrook and Deondre Jackson of region champ Campbell County, Damien King of GRC, Koebe Garrard of Paris, Bryan Wallace and Darius Jones of Montgomery County and Shawn Johnson of Mason County.
Campbell County’s Aric Russell was the Coach of the Year for the region with Bishop Brossart the Class A Coach of the Year.
Harrison County’s Trenton Thompson was named as honorable mention for the region team. All award winners will receive recognition at the annual banquet.
