Baseball Alumni looking
for nominations for second class
Baseball season is near and that means it is time to get nominations in for the second class for the Cynthiana-Harrison County Baseball Hall of Fame.  Applications must be completed and received before April 1, 2014, to be considered.
A requirement this season will be that all information must be completed, including year of graduation, life accomplishments after baseball and any college/lifetime achievements.
Applications are provided on line at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Alumni Baseball Association website or will be provided upon request to any board member or by contacting Ron England via email at ron.england@ymail.com.
The second class will be installed on June 28 at the Cynthiana Elks Lodge at 6 p.m. with a social gathering at 5:30 p.m.  
Tickets will be available for $15 per adult and $5 per child under the age of 10. All proceeds are placed in the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.  Scholarships are awarded to graduating Thorobreds baseball players to help further their education.
All applications are retained and considered for five years and any former Harrison County or Cynthiana High School baseball player is eligible.  The nominee must have graduated 15 years before he can be nominated. An individual can nominate more than one person.
