Local runners dominate
Rod Run 5K
The top three runners in both the women’s and men’s divisions were all Harrison County residents in the Rod Run 5K that was held on Saturday. The race, with all proceeds going to the Refuge for Women, had 121 participants who ran from Bullard to Southern States and back. Kathy Brown of Cedar Ridge Health Campus was the race director and from all accounts did a wonderful job in her first year.
There were 14 divisions for both female and male participants so there were a lot of winners.
