Corinth Lake to remain closed
through Feb. 16
The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources is extending the closure of Corinth Lake in Grant County through Feb. 16.
Fisheries biologists with Kentucky Fish and Wildlife plan to spray the 96-acre lake with a chemical designed to eliminate gizzard shad. The chemical treatment was originally scheduled to occur this week, but is being delayed due to poor weather conditions. The treatment has been rescheduled for next week if weather conditions allow.
