Archers fifth in middle school state,
sixth in high school
A year that was thought to be a rebuilding one for the Harrison County Middle School archery team appears instead to be a reloading year.
Several talented eighth grade archers moved on to the high school last May, but those remaining took up where they left off by finishing fifth out of 49 teams in the state tournament.
The middle school team had a balanced attack with all involved shooting for good scores. So good in fact, that the squad was only 18 points from second.
