Rev. Ross Park bike race is Saturday

The 7th annual Rev. Ross Park Bike Race will be held this Saturday, Sept. 13, at the park. Several races will be held as part of the event with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. The first race will start at 10 a.m. Every participant will receive a free T-shirts, with race winners earning a new bike and helmet, and plaques awarded to all placement winners. There will also be several other fun activities held in conjunction with the races.

The race is open to all children between the ages of 5 and 12. The entry fee to participate in the race is a non-perishable food item that will donated to the local Food Pantry. This years bike race is sponsored by the Rev. Ross Park Committee, the Harrison County Family Resource Centers, McDonalds Restaurant and Champions For a Drug-Free Harrison County.

One-day softball camp will be Sept. 20

A one-day girls softball camp will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Bourbon County Legion Park in Paris from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on that day. The camp is open to all girls ages 5 thru 16, with no one turned away. All ability levels from beginner to more advanced are welcome to participate. There will be a one-hour break from noon until 1 p.m. for lunch, where the campers will be on there own.

Registration fee for the camp is $25 per child, with additional siblings charged at a rate of $15 each. HCHS Bowling Golf Scramble Sept. 13-14

The HCHS Bowling Team will have its annual Golf Scramble on Sept. 13 and 14 at Stoner Creek Country Club, in Paris. Please pick your day and sign up either online at www.hcbowling.com or call Jim Holland 588-3599

This is the teams main fundraiser for the year, so organizers ask for your support.

HCHS Season Passes

Season passes for students and adults continue to be on sale at Harrison County High School during regular school hours and are also available for purchase at the gate of each HCHS home sporting event.

Adults

1. All Sports Pass (good for admission to all home regular season events, excluding tournaments and special events approximately 50 home events) -- $125

2. 14-game pass (good for any 14 varsity, freshman or junior varsity contests) -- $50

Students

1. All Sports Pass (good for admission to all home regular season events, excluding tournaments and special events approximately 50 home events) -- $50

2. 14-game pass (good for any 14 varsity, freshman, or junior varsity contests) -- $30.
