Soccer Breds finish second in Thorobred Classic taking 2 of 3

-A A +A
By Mike Aldridge

The Tuesday night defeat of Holy Cross in shootout fashion was not enough to carry the Harrison County Thorobreds to the championship of their own Thorobred Classic as Bishop Brossart ran rough shod over the field for three wins and the trophy.
Thursday night was the face off between the two top teams in the Classic, the Breds and the Mustangs. The Mustangs scored first as the Breds, playing without Logan Wiley who received a red card on Tuesday and was out for this and the Bourbon County match, were working on finding the right combination.
