Smith-Haley to marry June 23

Rodney and Bamba Smith of Dry Ridge announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Danielle Marie Smith to Derrick Allan Haley, son of Lin and Debbie Haley of Cynthiana.
Smith is a 2006 graduate of Grant County High School and a 2010 graduate of Transylvania University in Lexington. While at Transy she majored in Anthropology and minored in Environmental Science. She is employed at Sherman Elementary School in Dry Ridge where she is an instructional assistant. She is the granddaughter of Bruce and Ann McKenney of Dry Ridge and the late William and Dorothy Smith of Dry Ridge.
Haley is a 1999 graduate of Harrison County High School and a 2004 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. While at Eastern he majored in Elementary Education. In 2012 he graduated from Xavier University with his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. He is employed at Sherman Elementary where he teaches Kindergarten. He is the grandson of Mary Mullikin of Cynthiana and the late Charles Mullikin, and Thelma Haley of Cynthiana and the late Neville Haley.
The wedding is to be held in Williamstown, Ky. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on June 23, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. A reception will follow the ceremony at the Grant County Fairgrounds.
