The Harrison County sixth grade AAU team finished as runner-up in the Mason County Fall Classic held last weekend at Maysville Saint Patrick.
The team, coached by Louis Kendall and Woody Fryman, won four straight on Saturday to advance to the championship game, but fell to the host Royal team during Sunday evening’s game.
The sixth grade team defeated Lewis County twice on Saturday, 31-18 and 28-18, the Mason County blue team, 32-29, and Nicholas County, 34-15, to qualify for the Sunday game.
