A former Shady Lawn employee has been charged with exploiting an adult for financial gain over $300 and four counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument.
According to Sgt. Wilbur Gross of the Cynthiana Police Department, Charly Blankenship was arrested May 17 following an investigation into allegations that a resident in the care facility where Blankenship worked was missing money.
Gross said Blankenship worked as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) at Shady Lawn Nursing Facility.
