As recent financial woes of the Commission on Aging/Harrison County Senior Citizens Center have come to light, several employees have resigned leaving a skeleton crew to keep services available.
“We have to do something,” said Dr. Beth Laytart, chairman of the Commission on Aging board.
She said the Title III director, Robbin Back, left at the end of May along with her husband and director of Community Employment Opportunities Jason Back. His position, while housed in the same building, is not part of the Commission on Aging.
