The Harrison County Board of Education will soon be one member short.
According to information obtained Monday morning in an open records request, member Lucy Vanhook is resigning from the board due to “increasing conflicts with her work schedule and board meetings.”
Assistant Superintendent DeeGee Fischer said Vanhook’s resignation will be effective Dec. 30, 2009.
