Royalty takes his race to Hickory Speedway

Brian Royalty, a Cynthiana resident who has seen some success in stock car racing around Kentucky and in West Virginia, decided to branch out a bit last fall.

He and his father/car owner/crew chief, Keith Royalty, headed for Hickory Speedway in Hickory, N.C., a track which bills itself as The Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars. Thats not an idle boast. A lot of the southern good ol boys have started or nurtured their careers at Hickory.
