When Cynthiana’s newest auto body repair shop opened and had its ribbon cutting last week, owner Greg Roberts said it was a dream come true.

Roberts, who has 25 years of experience in auto body/collision repair, said he enjoys serving the public and looks forward to that side of his business.

After graduating from Nashville Auto-Diesel College in collision repair, he gained experience at Fortune Collision in Lexington, Church Brothers in Indianapolis and Kentucky Collision in Georgetown.

K-3 Collision is named after Greg and Jessica Roberts’ three children -- Karson, Kelsey and Kali.

His new body shop, which is located at 824 KY 356 (White Oak Pike), is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The shop features a paint booth and frame rack as well as an in-house mixing system.

All K-3 Collision customers will receive two free details each year and a lifetime warranty on all repair work, he said.

In addition to Roberts, there are two body techs also available, Frank Baker and Andy Teegarden.

K-3 is ASE certified and I-car certified.
