A bank robbery suspect was arrested just after noon on Friday following a crash at the Harrison County Business Park.
William Vincent, 28, of Aurora, Ill., was arrested after he wrecked a black Mercedes SUV into a guard rail, then took off on foot toward a pond on U.S. 62.
Vincent allegedly robbed the First Federal Bank on Sir Barton Way in Lexington at 11:27 a.m.
Lexington Metro Police were able to track the vehicle with a helicopter. He traveled onto I-75 and then to KY 460.
Harrison County and Cynthiana law enforcement joined in the chase when the suspect traveled onto KY 353 headed toward Harrison County.
He was taken into custody following a brief foot chase and taken back to Fayette County.
