Road crews plowing ahead to ensure safety of others

December is certainly one for the record books. Snowfall totals for the month have equaled the average yearly totals for most of the state.
Despite snowfall after snowfall, Harrison County’s major roads have been cleared for travel.
Trucks with scrapers and salt spreaders could be heard late at night and early in the  morning breaking paths on snow-covered roads.
State, county and city crews worked diligently to make sure that motorists could get to work and even that holiday travelers could safely reach their destinations.
