A mid-morning storm Thursday left a swath of damage in its wake.
The storm’s path was primarily contained to the U.S. 62 West and Allen Pike areas.
One lane of U.S. 62 was closed and Allen Pike was completely blocked until Harrison County and state road crews could clear downed trees and debris.
In Harrison County, there are nearly 150 customers without electricity in the U.S. 62 West area. Blue Grass Energy reports that system-wide they have about 900 homes affected. Scott County and Bourbon County had damaging storms as well.
