Descendants of George Woosley (Estill County) will hold a reunion/dessert potluck on Oct. 7 at 2:30 p.m. at the Carlisle Old Depot, Carlisle, Ky.

The French and Fooks reunion will be held at the Claysville Christian Church shelter on Saturday, Sept. 29. Lunch will be served at noon.

The Gilkerson/Gilkison family reunion will be held Saturday, Sept. 22 at Legion Hall, Legion Road, Paris, Ky. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The meal will be served at 12:30 p.m.
Bring a covered dish for sharing and soft drinks of your choice. Utensils, plates, napkins, lemonade and coffee will be furnished. Bring your family tree information and anything you’d like to display for others to enjoy.

Our philosophy is since the reunion is only once a year it shouldn’t be too hard to give up something to come and have fun with family members. The committee is looking forward to seeing you all.

The family reunion for Forrest and Gracie Linville’s family will be held on Sunday, Sept. 23 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Lions Club pavilion (near the playground) located in Flat Run Veterans Park on Oddville Road in Cynthiana.

The McConnell-Bradley family annual reunion and potluck will be held Sunday, Oct. 7 at the Mt. Olivet Community Center just off US 62 (Kentontown-Cynthiana Rd.). The meal will be served at 1 p.m. Family and friends are invited.
The McKinney family reunion will be held Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Harrison County 4-H Center. Gates will open at 10:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at 12:30. Utensils, plates, napkins and coffee will be furnished.

The 15th annual Mulligan reunion was held Sept. 1 at the Harrison County Fairgrounds with 52 members present, five being their first time to the reunion.
James Mulligan gave the blessing of the food which was served at 12:30 with a large variety of dishes. Tables were decorated with white tablecloths and large record bowls filled with snacks and placemats with history of the Oder family of Harrison County.
It was voted by members to send a $50 donation to the Robinson Cemetery for upkeep. Family history was discussed by Shirley Mulligan Swartz and new found photos were shown by the Rodney Boone family of Mason, Ohio. Janet Mulligan Arnold was the auction bookkeeper adding in a total of $116 for the reunion fund. Stacey Mulligan served as acting secretary. A large box of non-perishable food items were filled by family members and donated to the Food Pantry of Cynthiana.
Entertainment was by Rebecca Lewis of Richmond, Ky. as Patsy Cline. Eight door prizes were given out, closing the gathering.

CLASS OF 1957
The Harrison County High School Class of 1957 will meet at Biancke’s on Sept. 17 at noon.
Join classmates for lunch and help plan the 55 year class reunion to be held Oct. 13, 2012.
CLASS OF 1964
The Harrison County High School Class of 1964 is getting ready for their annual reunion. This year it will be on Oct. 20 at Biancke’s Restaurant. If you come for dinner, we will be in the back room at 5 p.m. We’ll order from the menu and everybody will pay for their own meal.
After dinner, at approximately 6:30 p.m., we’ll move to the patio and bar areas to socialize. You may want to attend both the dinner and social hours, but if you wish to attend only one, that’s okay, too. We hope to see you there.

The Harrison County High School Class of 1967 will hold its 45th reunion on Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Ramada inn, Lexington, from 6 p.m. to midnight.

The Harrison County High School Class of 1972 will hold its 40 year class reunion pig roast on Sept. 15 at the Cynthiana Elks Lodge from 5 p.m. to midnight. Cost is $35 a couple, $20 single.
