CLASS OF 1959 REUNION
The 1959 graduating class of Harrison County High School will be having their 50th reunion on June 13, 2009 at 6 p.m. at the Cynthiana Country Club.
All classmates and friends who attended school with these members from 1947-1959 are welcome to attend.

The D.E. McCauley family reunion will take place at noon on June 19 in the Floral Hall of the Harrison County Fairgrounds. Bring food, an appetite and lots of pictures.
The Cynthiana High School Alumni Banquet will be held Saturday, June 27, at the Elks Lodge. Classes honored are 1934, 1939, 1944, 1949, 1954, 1959.
Social hour begins at 5:30, dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and are available at Cynthiana Museum, Farmers Bank on U.S. 27 South and Whalen’s Jewelry.

The Hatfield-Workman reunion will be held June 14 at the Harrison County 4-H grounds. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. Everyone should bring a dish.
The Palmer reunion will be held June 13 at the Unity Christian Church picnic area. Dinner will be at 1 p.m. Bring a passing dish. Meat and rolls will be provided.
All relatives and friends of the family will be welcomed.
The Pope reunion will be held Sunday, June 14 at 1 p.m. with a potluck dinner. Some drinks will be provided. We will be holding our annual auction for those who want to participate, and you may bring an item to donate. Games will be provided for children and adults.
The location will be at Little Switzerland grounds on Old Lair Road in Cynthiana, Ky.

Ruddles Mills Consolidated School Reunion, (Bourbon County), will be held Saturday, June 27 from 5-7 p.m. at Biancke’s Restaurant, 102 S. Main St., Cynthiana. Fellowship starts at 5, dinner at 6. Anyone who has ever stepped through the doors of Ruddles Mills School are welcome.

Joseph and Lydia Fleming Cummins were married in Bourbon County, Ky. in 1793 and lived at Antioch Mills in what is now Harrison County, Ky. They had 13 children and 140 grandchildren. The family has grown to include many families. Allison, Anderson, Asbury, Blades, Catt, Chapman, Clark, Crafford, Cummings, Davis, Duvall, Elliott, Gerhardt, Gromer, Grose, Haley, Hall, Harrison, Henderson, Herzog, Holmes, Huckaby, Huddlestun, Huffman, Hunt, Huston, Ingle, Johnson, Kelley, Lang, Lenox, Lincoln, McCoullough, McDaniel, McKimmey, Moore, Myers, Paddock, Parr, Patton, Petty, Price, Raines, Rankin, Recop, Redd, Rhodes, Rich, Rowe, Sandy, Shell, Simpson, Smith, Sper, Sprague, Steiler, Strouse, Stubbs, Stump, Swickard, Thompson, Tumelson, Turner, Uselman, Whitaker, Whitehurst, and Whiteker are some of the surnames that have Cummins family connections and all are invited to attend. The reunion will be held June 19-21 in Effingham, Ill. Housing will be at the Comfort Suites Inn, 1310 W. Fayette Dr., in Effingham, $70 plus tax. Call 217-342-3151 for reservations. Indicate that you are with the Cummins reunion when you call.
Reservations are needed for attendance at the reunion and a fee of $5 each will be required in advance. When reservations are made you can order a reunion tee shirt and the price will be given at that time.
