The 13th annual Mulligan reunion was held Sept. 4 at the Harrison County Fairgrounds 4-H building with 50 members present. We welcomed nine, first time members this year. Lunch was served at 12:30 p.m. with homemade dishes, fresh fruits and dips. The tables were decorated with colorful fall leaves and mini pumpkins. Placemats were printed with 1850-1860 Census Records, as our guest speaker Kay Withers gave an informative talk on the importance of the 2010 Census.
There was popcorn, face painting, balloons, games and prizes for the kids. Members voted to send a donation to the Robinson Cemetery for upkeep. The auction began at 2:30 p.m. with many items for sale, bringing in $120 for the reunion fund. Members also brought in canned goods which were donated to the Cynthiana Food Pantry.
