Feel free to attend the dinner and/or the social time. We really want to see you at both, but if your schedule won’t allow you to do so, you can choose to attend either the dinner or the social time.

The 16th annual Mulligan reunion was held Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Harrison County fairgrounds with 38 members present. There were two new members to this years reunion, Rex and Dora Gordon. The tables were decorated in blue and gold with photo placemats of the 1913 Model T Ford, which was on display at the reunion.
James Mulligan, Cincinnati, gave the blessing of the food. The luncheon was a success with ham, meatloaf, turkey, fried chicken, large variety of vegetable dishes and lots of desserts.
Gladys Sowder was acting secretary with the minutes. After lunch Shirley Mulligan Swartz gave the genealogy of Samuel Mulligan, son of John and Savannah Wolf Mulligan. Reported were the deaths of two family members, Johnny Kenneth Townsend and Orville Jones Jr.
An auction was held to help with costs of the reunion. Janet Arnold was bookkeeper for the auction. Members also voted to donate $50 to the Robinson Cemetery for upkeep.
Guests and family members were: BJ, Casey and Lizzie Miller from Shandon, Ohio with their 100 year old, 1913 Model T Ford. They were dressed in vintage clothes of 1913, presented a slide show about the model “T”, then it was time for rides and photo taking. Everyone seemed to love the old car and especially the horn.
There were 115 Mulligan newsletters sent out. We would like to see more family in attendance. Mark your calendar for next year, Sept. 6, 2014.
Door prizes were given out closing the 2013 Mulligan reunion.
