Recreation in America and Cynthiana

-A A +A

Mike's Minute

By Mike Aldridge

A WalletHub study of best and worst cities for recreation caught my eye recently and made me think of how it related to Cynthiana and Harrison County.
The study lists 100 cities ranking them from one, being the best, to 100, the worst, using 44 key indicators.
The top four indicators are facilities, costs, quality and weather. Some of the other considerations are most park playgrounds for the population; walkable park access; spending on parks per capita; bike rental facilities and coffee and tea shops.
