Harrison County Judge-Executive Alex Barnett estimated totals as of Friday were nearing $25,000.
Salt alone is costing about $8,775 for 150 tons. Another 200 tons were ordered Friday at $58.50 per ton.
The county used 300 tons of rock at a cost of $3,535. Add to that another $550 for equipment costs, such as chainsaws used in tree and debris removal.
