Perhaps you don’t agree with a letter or a column here on the Viewpoint page.
Maybe you think the newspaper or its editor have taken it to far by printing someone’s opinion.
In recent weeks I’ve heard some mumbling to that effect.
My response has to be that I would no more deny publication of a letter to the editor than I would ask a librarian to remove a book from the shelf.
There is the exception of libel and good taste with regards to letters.
There are a few rules, but we try to limit those.
