Just in case you haven’t heard, I’m Employee of the Month.
I’ve never, ever been Employee of the Month anywhere I’ve ever worked, although once I was Student of the Month in Mr. Taylor’s fourth grade class at Nevada Avenue Elementary School in Canoga Park, Calif.
It went to my head and I pushed my desk up front and took it upon myself to erase the board, but it turned out Mr. Taylor wasn’t finished and the class yelled at me. I was never Student of the Month after that.
